On Mondays Ava has splash pad at school. So we always take a backpack with her stuff in it so she can participate. We also wash her nap blanket each week and take it in on Monday. So we have a load to carry with us at the start of the week. Lately Ava has decided that she wants to help. She loves to carry her Yo Gabba Gabba backpack and her blanket BUT she is so little that most days she does not make it to the car...I guess the backpack is too heavy. Poor thing...it only has a beach towel, swimsuit, swim shoes and sunblock in it! Well she is only 23lbs herself so even an added 5lbs is not light! LOL Here is a picture of her loaded up and headed out this past Monday:
Oh and last week after splash pad Ava tripped and busted her chin on the concrete! OUCH. She barely cried but I left work to check her and to put butterfly bandages on her cut. Here is a pic of her on the front desk after me and Ms. Marlin doctored her up. Such a sad face, bloody shirt and all.
