Our new baby...

Stop holding your breath...it is not that kind of baby! BUT Ava just started playing with baby dolls. She has gotten attached to a doll that she has had since Christmas. She calls her "baby-kai." She likes to carry her around on her shoulder and pat her on the back. When I make her pretend cry she picks her up and pats her. While she is doing it she says, "pat, pat, pat." Mike decided it would be fun to see what she did with a stroller. He found one at Target and brought it home. She immediately knew what to do with it. Strange how girls have that immediate sense. Here are some pictures of Ava and her "baby-kai."


Oh and if you ever tell her that Baby-Kai is yours she will take her and say, "mine." This is the start of many good times! Ava can now say "mine" and knows what it means. Thanks to her Daddy for teaching her that one! :)
