Just another Sunday in the park...

Every weekend Mike takes Ava to local parks to play. I like to let them go off sometimes on their own for "Ava/Dada time" but now and again I join them. This past Sunday we all packed up early in the morning to hit the park before it got hot and before the squirrels went to hide. Mike also bought Ava a wagon the day before so we had to try it out. Here are some pictures from our great morning at the park:

Ava in the Diva wagon...that is livin. I never had anything like this!

Ava and Mike rode on the dinosaur...he was pretending like it was a bull and doing a "rodeo arm" but he would not let me photograph it. :)

Then Ava wanted to play on the slide, again and again and again...so we took turns taking her. Also my hubby is so smart! This slide always has water on the end of the slides, because of the morning dew. Most would be discouraged by it and not slide down it so they did not get wet. Mike went into Dada mode to remove the water. Most would think he used his shirt, but he had another solution. He picked up the sand at the base of the slide and covered the water areas with quite a bit of it. Then he just pushed it off. Since he added so much his hands did not get muddy! PERFECT, let the sliding begin.

Then we brought bread for the squirrels. A few of them came to visit us for a tasty treat. Then one figured out we were keeping it in the wagon and decided to get his own! Here is the squirrel we met...he was munching on our bread

Nothing like a good day at the park!
