Ava Van Gogh

After we got home from school today I decided to take Ava out back and let her paint on the porch. She LOVES to paint, and I love that there are such products as Color Wonder Paints! God Bless Crayola...can I get an amen?? AMEN! :) For those that may not know, these paints are a clear gel that only work on certain paper and don't make a mess...but you still have all the fun of painting!

I drew pictures on her papers and let her paint them. They are finger paints, but she switched between the brush and finger paints. She really enjoyed herself. However, it was really windy out this afternoon so her paper was blowing all over the place. So we enlisted the help of her friends...Alligator, Frog and the newest edition Salamander! Yes, that is right she has another new friend. Alligator's tail broke last week, we even tried putting it back together with a Band Aid, and she was upset. To Wal-Mart we went and she picked Salamander from the bunch...

He now joins the other 8 animals/babies that sleep in her bed with her...she needs a new bed just to fit all of them in. Maybe a bunk bed for them all to share!! LOL
